Overview

About Marine Water Makers

A marine water maker turns seawater into clean, potable fresh water using reverse osmosis — pushing seawater through a semi-permeable membrane at high pressure to separate the salt. For yachts that cruise the Bahamas, the Caribbean, or extended distances anywhere in the world, a properly specified water maker is the difference between true freedom and constant dock-water dependence. We are an authorized FCI Watermakers dealer and have decades of experience selecting, installing, commissioning, and servicing reverse osmosis systems on yachts and superyachts.

Section 01

FCI reverse osmosis water maker sales

We represent the full FCI Watermakers product line — including the compact Aqua Mini for sportfishers and smaller cruising yachts, the popular Aqua Whisper series for motor yachts, and the high-capacity Max-Q line for superyacht service. Each system is selected based on the vessel's daily fresh water consumption, available power, available installation space, and intended cruising profile.

  • FCI Aqua Mini (200–450 GPD)
  • FCI Aqua Whisper (600–1,800 GPD)
  • FCI Max-Q (1,800–3,600+ GPD)
  • Single-membrane and multi-membrane configurations
  • Modular and frame-mounted layouts
Section 02

Water maker installation and commissioning

A properly installed marine water maker is quiet, efficient, and reliable for years. We handle the complete installation: seawater feed pumps and pre-filtration, high-pressure pump and membrane housing placement, energy recovery where applicable, product water plumbing, freshwater storage integration, salinity probes, control panels, and full dockside and sea-trial commissioning with documented test data.

Section 03

Reverse osmosis membrane service and replacement

Membrane condition is the single largest factor in water maker output and product water quality. We perform membrane cleaning with the appropriate alkaline and acid solutions, full membrane replacement when output or salinity rejection drops below specification, and proper pickling whenever a water maker will sit unused for more than a week or two.

Section 04

High-pressure pump rebuilds and feed system service

The high-pressure pump is the heart of any reverse osmosis system. We service and rebuild high-pressure pumps with manufacturer-spec seals, valves, and pistons. We also service the supporting feed system — pre-filter housings, feed pumps, salinity probes, three-way valves, and flush systems.

Section 05

Water maker service in the Bahamas and Caribbean

Watermaker failures often happen far from a dock. We regularly travel to the Bahamas and throughout the Caribbean for water maker commissioning, scheduled service, membrane replacement, and emergency repair. Pre-cruise readiness inspections before a long passage are one of the highest-value services we offer water maker owners.
