Overview

About Marine Plumbing Repairs & Refits

Marine plumbing systems are among the least visible systems on a yacht and among the most consequential when they fail. A leaking joint, failed pump, or corroded through-hull can cascade into water damage, sanitation problems, or worse. We handle the full scope of marine plumbing work — from a single failed fitting on a sportfisher to a complete plumbing refit on a superyacht. Our crews are trained in marine-grade pipe fabrication and we work routinely in copper, cupronickel, PEX, and GF COOL-FIT systems.

Section 01

Yacht fresh water systems and water lines

Potable water on a yacht should be clean, pressurized reliably, and isolated cleanly between tanks, manifolds, and fixtures. We service and refit complete fresh water systems — from tanks and fill plumbing through pressure pumps, accumulators, manifolds, hot water heaters, and individual fixture supplies. We replace failed pumps, repair pinhole leaks, re-pipe corroded sections, and modernize older layouts for serviceability.

  • Fresh water pump and accumulator replacement
  • Hot water heater service and replacement
  • Tank cleaning and disinfection
  • Manifold and fixture re-piping
  • Leak detection and pinhole repair
Section 02

Marine sanitation and drainage systems

Marine sanitation — toilets, vacuum systems, gravity systems, gray water, holding tanks, and overboard discharge — is one of the most failure-prone subsystems on any yacht. We service and refit complete sanitation systems with the appropriate hoses, pumps, valves, and tanks. We also handle gray water drainage, shower sump pumps, and condensate plumbing.

  • Marine toilet service and replacement
  • Vacuum and gravity sanitation systems
  • Holding tank installation and service
  • Shower sump pumps and gray water drainage
  • Sanitation hose replacement (odor-permeation rated)
Section 03

Pumps, manifolds, valves, and through-hulls

Pumps, ball valves, manifolds, and through-hull fittings are the connection points where most plumbing failures start. We replace failed pumps, rebuild manifolds, exchange seized ball valves, and replace through-hull fittings and seacocks with marine-grade hardware properly bedded and torqued.

Section 04

Chilled water and HVAC piping

Chilled water piping on yachts carries the cooling capacity that feeds every air conditioning fan coil on board. We design, fabricate, and replace chilled water loops — frequently using GF COOL-FIT for its corrosion resistance, integrated insulation, and serviceable jointing — and coordinate cleanly with the rest of the plumbing refit.

Section 05

Full marine plumbing refits

When a yacht is in the yard for a major refit, the plumbing scope is often where the most long-term value is created. A well-executed plumbing refit dramatically extends the useful life of the vessel and removes years of accumulated workarounds. We deliver full plumbing refits with documented as-builts and valve charts so the crew can maintain the system confidently.
